IMO, go for the Sigma. The Canon is a good lens, I bet, but the Sigma has gotten a lot of praise in the past. Get the Sigma off of a reputable site or something, though, like B&H, because just in case the quality control of the variant you receive is horrible, you can contact them and send it back in for a replacement, and so on. The Sigma lenses can be hit or miss, but if you get a good copy then you’re golden. I don’t think the 24-70L will be going on sale anytime soon, plus you can’t really compare prime lenses with zoom lenses. Hope this helps!
